NEW SONG RELEASE
It is now official, or un official that the so called gospel musicians in Kenya have taken their industry to a different direction.
It all started with scandals everywhere, the struggle to trend unlike their secular counterparts, concentrating on showbiz rather than spreading the gospel; and releasing hits that don’t sound like gospel to us.
The young gospel musicians also see no wrong in collaborating with the artists who sing world music. It started with Juliani collaborating with Jua Cali in ‘Si Siri’, Mr. Boo and Pilipili on ‘Ni wewe’ and Bahati ft Wyre and King Kaka on ‘Kuchu Kuchu’. Willy Paul followed thereafter with a collabo with Alaine, Sauti Sol, Harmonize etc.
Bahati is now back with another goscular song with Wasafi’s MBOSSO. Remember he had earlier done a song with BET Award winner RayVanny..
Here is the song:
Bahati has over the years been eyeing the Tanzanian market, judging by his lyrics, style of beats and vibe.
He and his nemesis Willy Paul have always been castigated for copying too much of Bongoflava and for having role models from the other world.
Fans would expect Kirk Franklin to be Willy Pauls idol, but NO. That is not the case, Willy Paul has always wanted to be the Kenyan Diamond Platnumz, even adding the name Msafi to sound like Wasafi or get mileage.
Diamond Platnumz being the businessman he is, has used their thirst for the Tanzania market to push his boys in the Kenyan market.
The video was shot by Director Kenny in Tanzania and has been well received so far.
